East London - A Sporting Legacy
This evening briefing is for sports clubs and associations exclusively within the 5 Olympic Host Boroughs to inform you about the fantastic facilities and opportunities that East London will benefit from as a result of the legacy sports venues from the London 2012 Games.
Date: Tuesday 23 June 5.30pm till 8.30pm
Venue: David Beckham Sports Academy, East Parkside, Greenwich Peninsula
Audience: Any sports club or organisation working within the 5 Olympic Host Boroughs
The session offers you the chance to learn more about what facilities and opportunities each of the 5 Legacy venues; Aquatics Centre, the Velopark, Arena 3, Eton Manor and the Olympic Stadium will bring after the 2012 Games. It will include presentations on the plans to create a lasting legacy for sport as well as detailed breakout discussions on individual venues to learn about the detailed plans for East London’s legacy.
There is a capacity threshold on this event and invites are limited to two individual per sports club/organisation, so please book early to guarantee your place.
